Re: Lajes (Azores) (LPLA/TER) - 2013 MIL
they confuse me its ASCOT 9507 and ASCOT 9509
Re: Lajes (Azores) (LPLA/TER) - 2013 MIL
First flight was also RRR9605 etc etc instead of RRR9065..mainsail2011 wrote:they confuse me its ASCOT 9507 and ASCOT 9509
FYI : Flight of Typhoons were heard overhead UK as RRR9601 x5 (9601 returned to Conningsby) & RRR9605 x 5, Supporting tankers were RRR9201 (ZD951 via Mode-s) & RRR9203 (ZA149 via Mode-s)
Appearantly they are enroute to next Edition of Red Flag.

To add, Fightercontrol reported planned was for Typhoons : RRR9601-9605 & RRR9606-9609

Re: Lajes (Azores) (LPLA/TER) - 2013 MIL
This is first F-16 delivery to Egypt under Peace Vector VII. BLUE 51 shown as KC-10A 85-0030 305AMW per radarbox. Departure time from NFW was 1115Z (0515L). RETRO 05 was apparently airspare as it did not continue on. Arrival of KC-10 at LPLA around 1600Z. Per Fencecheck site, F-16C 9753 and F-16Ds 9822/23 were recently seen at NFW repainted in US national insignia for the ferry flight.Dutchmil wrote:Hi,

Re: Lajes (Azores) (LPLA/TER) - 2013 MIL
I think this bird has to be J-067/AZ, also a dual ... as J-369 has been seen yesterday on the ground at Tucson, Arizona (same destination as J-067 is/was intended to go to as replacement of two F-16BMs with the 148th FS training detachment, that will return to The Netherlands after the Red Flag 13-2 group comes home via NAS Yuma.Thunderbolt wrote:And still on the ground, a Dutch F16 J-369 inside the portuguese hangar.
