2012: A year in review
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

2012: A year in review
First thing's first, thanks to all of those who I have been accompanied by or helped this year. A lot of excellent banter and laughs to kill the waiting time. Really appreciate it all!
It started at the tail end of January, a couple of sunny days at the local in which one of them ended up with a stunning sunset. Quite a lot of activity on that day too, so I braved the cold and shot through sunset.

In May, the Tornado role demo worked up and we had five Danish F-16s in for a couple of days. The best aspect of role demonstration practices were that I got so many opportunities to work out the best spot, found it pretty much straight away, they would do two practices at a time so twice the opportunity. The best day was definitely when the axis was slightly altered.
