Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Michael, info from the ST team:
The red/white coloured Il-76 T-908 looks to be D2-FEM on top of the wing
(from his shot).

D2-FEM also had lettering by the nose in the past.
Some pics coming your way in the mail.

Thanks all, some time I have the idea that I am the only one that thinks the motive is more important that quality. I now know I am not alone
You are definitely not the only one. I prefer an exotic topic like this any day over a KLM 737, even if it produces rainbow coloured spiral-shaped contrails. But that's all just a matter of taste and I love this forum for offering room for both kinds of aviations photography.

Great subject again Michael, I really enjoy your sightings from the corners of the world.

Just back from a (non-aviation) visit to the bush, but I will see if I can find a few more interesting shots during the week. Photo quality keeps dropping though

All the best, Michael

PS. a couple pics from the weekends bush visit on the Animals Photography topic in Tattle Lounge

This was a VERY fruitful "taxi-run"!
No cabin attendants who became "twitchy" with you clicking away on all that came before your lens?

Indeed,
D2-ECB Gulfstream III Angola Government (wfu)
is the star in the latest series...

Only happens on Ryanair no? Couple of my fellow passengers were looking skeptical, but with all those gems passing by the window no chance I could stop. Wouldn't even have been able to write every thing down quick enough.

As promised a few from the hotel, surely not a photographers dream, but for the number crusher quite good.

Much discussed PN-120 AS.365N2 Policia National next to the hotel.
