Red Deer Alberta November 16, 2012. Large.
On November 16 I had visits to Buffalo Airways and Air Spray at Red Deer Regional airport.
Here in Canada Buffalo is known from the show Ice Pilots NWT.
C-FABQ had a right main gear failure while landing in Yellowknife, somehow they were able to ferry it to Red Deer where it is being repaired.

fantastic pictures, i am amazed (and yet sad) to see so many L-188 Electra's and DC-3's being stripped.
the Electra's are a real treat, as there arent many of those arround these days.

Nice pics! Still on my list to visit this place.
BTW, the former HR-AMM doesn't look much better than when I saw it at Lanseria, SA about 12 years ago. But I'm guessing it is in much better hands than it was over there.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
Red Deer is certainly worth a visit if you happen to find yourself in the Calgary area.
I even volunteer to go there with you.

Nice set Rob, thanx for sharing... only now, I want to go there even more than when I was simply watching Buffalo Ice Pilots on tv...

I hate to put watermarks there Melmac, but it wouldn't be the first time that somebody takes my pics and post them somewhere under their name. That is why I always fade it out a bit.Melmac wrote:Pictures

I still hope you like the pics though.
