US Army 10-0737 (AE4C63)
Figured I'd start a thread specifically about this one rather that chat all about it in the KHSV thread.
It has been flying around local to me this week. Unfortunately it's been during my working hours so I haven't been able to hear it on the radio. My Radarbox has been logging it though.
It seem to me it's probably operating out of KHGR because Sierra Nevada Corp has a big operation there with a lot of Army involvement. When they fly their test missions their ATC callsign is CROOK.
Well on April 3 10-0737 displayed CROOK68 and CROOK32 for its callsigns. Yesterday and on its first flight today it displayed USARMY. On the second flight today it displayed 100737. So that definitely confirms that hex and reg.
This aircraft may even be one of the civilian reg'd Beeches I previously logged with the CROOK callsign either on the Radarbox or heard with ATC.

FYI CROOK 47 crossed Dutch Airspace on Feb 14th this year

The last time I logged N507P was Feb 12 as PAT507P0. It had showed that since Sept 29, 2011. Prior to that it displayed E2022138.

It will be interesting to see what pops up here are a few to watch for all are B-300C built in 2010 all to Sierra Nevada at this time,i keep forgetting Sierra Nevada has an office in Huntsville now:

Apparently 10-0738 joined 0737 today, probably at KHGR. It arrived around 1145 local showing a flight ID of EVAL45.
It just went airborne again while I was typing.

Yeah 10-0738 came back into Redstone late this evening,less than an hour ago.

Actually they don't the databases usually add the extra digit to distinguish them from Air Force Aircraft,as in an extra zero is added to the Army listings in the database to give them a uniform serial range as five digits after the year.I have listings for all the CH-47 being built and they all have four digit numbers off the line.

It seems there is another relatively local-to-me company involved in the conversion of Beechs into military versions. They've been doing it for awhile apparently. I've found photos on the various sites of civilian regd planes with Army color and markings like http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6113324
They also do stuff with Dash8s too. The planes are registered under Dynamic Avlease Inc but the company is http://www.dynamicaviation.com/index.ph ... naissance/
I once logged N45E with the callsign TANK74. Typically all these aircraft display their actual registration.
