Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Hyakuri Airshow - Japan (Sunday 21 October 2012)
Hi everybody,
Had a great day out at Hyakuri yesterday. The flying schedule was nice, just as the weather.
Here are some preliminary results (from the laptop)
Enjoy,
Iwan

Great shooting Iwan!
Hoe did you fare with the sun at Hyakuri on average? I know you have backlight after noon assuming the airshow was held at the military side.
Hans.

@Roel: With pleasure ! You had the invitation to come along with us, just like with my airtanker trip, but you preferred to go to work…..
@Joan: More stuff coming. Did Tsuiki today, but just arrived at the hotel at 23:00 hrs and no energy left to work on photos. Back-ups first, editing later.
@Bennie: Yep, I did. I’ll be in tocuh about it before I fly back, OK ?
@Hans: We parked our car on the side of the civil terminal, near the 3000 foot marker (northern end of the runway). From there we were transported to the static area by bus and shot the flightline and show during the morning, when the sun was still in our back. Around 13:30 hrs we headed back to the car park inside the base and shot the rest of the show / departures from there. So sun in the back for most of the time. Does this answer tour question?
@Mo: Yes ! Probably executed by all ten team members, and via all media (Scramble, Facebook, Whatsapp, email). That’s your punishment for no joining us, just as for Roel.
@Johan: Better be nice before I put you on the target list too….

Nice banking shots Iwan. Pretty good editing to, given that you used a laptop.
