Apparently was deployed to Bagram May thru September to supplement VMAQ-2. Anybody see them return to CONUS?sdamico wrote:Interesting, looks like VAQ-135 (expeditionary--'NL-52x'). Any idea on their destination (VMAQ-2 already at Bagram)?Oscar01 wrote:Mazda91-96 should be 6 growlers, leaving today further eastbounds. Tails should be 166900 / 940 / 941 / 942 / 943 / 944

Didn't those VMAQ-2 Prowlers routed back to CONUS via Moron? See http://theaviationist.com/2012/10/04/us ... ers-moron/

These Growlers are now returning home. Expect them today at Lajes on a flight of 5 as Trend61 Flight. From VAQ-135.
About those Prowlers, on September 22nd arrived three from VMAQ-3 heading to afghanistan. VMAQ-2 made a stopover on Moron, due bad weather on Lajes.
