Just a few aircraft from countries we have assisted last couple of years would be nice (Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Balkan, Somalia, Estonia etc)

Its not ' official' related to the organization as far as I understood, but there is a wishlist at twitter:

My personal favorite would be the NATO airfield attack (as suggested by me on the list) where several countrys and type's fly together...

Not completely true. The Air Force as such is from 1953. Before that, the Army had a part (first name was LVA, Luchtvaartafdeling) dealing with fighting in the air. It is this thing that was started a century ago next year. (See and probably translate http://www.defensie.nl/luchtmacht/100_j ... ileumjaar/.)Harry_Imp wrote:but I know next year the theme for the Luchtmachtdagen at Volkel is 100 years of the Dutch Air Force.

Saw one flying over our new house last week. But as they are stationed in the south I don't see them that often. As far as I know they keep flying until the P-3's arrive.I thought Taiwanese Trackers were retired not too long ago?

That is high on my wishlist as well. A real "old style" massive base attack.artemivanov wrote:My personal favorite would be the NATO airfield attack (as suggested by me on the list) where several countrys and type's fly together...

Many thanks for the info.
Do you still think it will be big show or like previous luchtmachtdagens?

I would be surprised if it will become as big for the aviation part as it was the last time at Volkel in '09 (well, maybe unfair to compare it to that classic one). The public area is a fixed number of square meters, and nowadays they also have to cater for the Army and Navy within that same area.

Many thanks for this! Really looking forward to this, but I always got the impression it would be as huge as the turkish 100 year show haha! Thanks very much!aviodromefriend wrote:I would be surprised if it will become as big for the aviation part as it was the last time at Volkel in '09 (well, maybe unfair to compare it to that classic one). What exactly did we do for these countries, bomb the living sh*t out of them and blow them out of the water?
Maybe you can help me a little bit what we did to Estonia?
