Dala-Järna Flygfesten 2012, my view from outside

Post by Flygvapnet_Viggen »

I spent some time outside the airfield, along the road in the tiny town of Järna under the approach. This turned out to be a rather nice place in the end!
Drove up from Stockholm to Dalarna on Sunday morning, the 12th and back again after the show was finished. A nice program with different displays and of course the presence of the Swedish Air Force Historical Flight was greatly appreciated! Some of my shots of the afternoon:

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

Very nice Corné. Nrs. 7 and 10 are great. The Belgian are flying with a normal F16. Is the demopainted FA-84 still (or again) out of service?

very nice photos, I was also there on Saturday and my shots are quite similar to yours, but you catch the Lansen much better than me!
Belgian Demo team went out of service while over Denmark due some canopy issues so a replacement was sent the next day.
