In July Emmen Air Base was the host for all three Suisse F/A-18 Hornet squadrons. Due to holidays and noise reduction reasons for tourists Meiringen and Payerne were closed and all the action of the Suisse Air Force took place at Emmen. Four waves with 6-8 Hornets and additional Tigers, props and helicopters made the days very busy. We also had luck with the weather and could enjoy two beautiful days in Switzerland.
