I saw there's the Gifu airshow too on 28 oct,that's the test/evaluation base for JASDF,someone has been there in the previous editions...?

Hi Fred,I want know what planes involved in the flight exhibition (not static): F-15J,F-2,Blue Impulse...?

very impressive,surely another planet than the shows here (Italy ),have you a photo report about the 2011 Hyakuri show too...? Will be in japan the last 2 weeks of october and want choose between the 21 oct Hyakuri or the 28 oct at Gifu...

There was no airshow at Hyakuri in 2011 because of the offical air force review - held in October (every third year) at Hyakuri.

thanks fo r the info I checked on youtube and found several videos about the 2 bases show,Gifu seems have more hardware,as the F-2 flight displays...they are both in october,so I've time to decide

on the Gifu program are signed passages of various aircraft all together,except for the C-130,no alone planes demo...?
Have ever been vintage flight in japan shows? (something like A6M2 + F-15 + F-2 )

About Gifu air show;
"various a/c" : all a/cs are belong to the ADTW.
"except for the C-130": The ADTW does not have its own C-130H. It is the "Guest" from the Komaki A.B..
So the C-130H did a "Solo demo-flight".
Further, the Gifu A.B. has a "Rough-field R/W" for the evaluation and traning.
The C-130H show us the landing-demo on it every year.

General;
We Japane have no vintage flyable a/cs. So there are no "Histlical" flight shows, alas.

I think I'll be in both Hyakuri and Gifu shows...
Do you know if are yet published the schedule with open gate and times of the various aircraft flyng,as the link above of the previous editions...?

They will publish the time schedule about 1-3 week(s) before the airshow on their base HP.
(Usually 1-2 week(s) before).
So, please await for a moment.

Sometimes the NOTAM gives you nice infos. for the spotting.
