Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

PoAF - Monte Real Spotters Day (long)
Hi everyone
During PoAF 60th birthday, Monte Real Airbase organized a small spotters day. Besides an exibithion of all planes in service with PoAF, 4 F16 flew in the morning and two in the afternoon. Some great photo opportunities allowed for the following pics.
C&Cs welcome as always

We have a saying in Portugal that translated into english will be something like this: "The just will pay for sinners dees". But, thank you for looking at the pictures.hdehaan wrote:Your great watermarks in this beautiful pictures are a shame.

That might be ptspotter, but I don't think hdehaan meant that you shouldn't watermark them at all.ptspotter wrote:We have a saying in Portugal that translated into english will be something like this: "The just will pay for sinners dees". I agree with him, there are several vary nice shots in here, but you constantly need to watch around the watermarks, they are way to big and disturbing the view of the subject. In my opinion this makes it annoying to watch your photos, and that shouldn't be the feeling you are aiming for when people watch your photos, correct?

Nice report, love the Portuguese Falcons!
On the other hand, if the poster is afraid of someone stealing his pics, he should be allowed having watermarks. It's his prerogative, just as it is yours to have a different opinion.Krazy wrote:In my opinion this makes it annoying to watch your photos, and that shouldn't be the feeling you are aiming for when people watch your photos, correct?

I didn't say he should not watermark them Pjotrtje.pjotrtje wrote:Nice report, love the Portuguese Falcons! On the other hand, if the poster is afraid of someone stealing his pics, he should be allowed having watermarks. Do watermark pictures when you don't want them to be stolen, the point that was trying to be made was the size of the watermarks, not the fact that they are there.krazy wrote: but I don't think hdehaan meant that you shouldn't watermark them at all.
But, we are going off topic.
Like we both said, there really are some nice shots in this post.

Thanks guys for the feedback. I understand that the watermarks can be a annoying to some but I've had some bad experiences in the past and now I play on the safe side. In upcoming uploads I'll try to make them softer.
