Colombia 2012 (VVC+BOG) UPDATE III
As promised (maybe you remember my LAX-trip) here are some photos from my Colombia trip.
I visited Bogota and Villavicencio and I got ramp access on both of them!
First of all I'd like to show you this shot. It shows Avianca's newest addition to the fleet, it's N519AV.
This is the first aircraft for Avianca in Star Alliance c/s (AV is supposed to join the alliance on 21st june).
More photos will be added soon!
Regards,
Basti

Very nice, the scheme on the Antonov is brilliant.

wow... love the "retro" painsheme of that 727 and 737-200, also that an-26 paint.
and for that verry cool "bush" shot of the an-12 and dc-3!!! is that on an active airport or a diserted field?

The "bush shot" was taken at Villavicencio, so yes it's an active airport. There are many DC-3's, AN-2's, a DC-6 and a PBY Catalina "stored" like this at VVC.

Very interesting post, makes me wanna travel there Really good quality shots. I like the night shots too even if they are with that awful yellow light (really hard to correct as well).
You obviously have access of some sort, but how easy would it be to spot there as a foreigner?
Cheers,
Egon

The biggest problem in Colombia is that nearly nobody knows the hobby "planespotting" and they automatically think that you're a spy or something equal.
But if you want I can tell you details via private message.
