Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

DUXFORD Flying Legends

Post by FALCONCREST »

Simply haven't got time to work on my pica's from last weeks "Flying Legends event"
Didn't see entries on this forum thus did a quick selection.
I think Duxford's Flying legends is well worth the visit...and deserves mentioning at this forum...
btw: standing on the dirt mountain on the other side of the runway is really awesome, never had warbirds that close and low over my head!

How did you get there? Is this an official spotters hill or is it for 'naughty' boys?

Naughty :) No, if you don't mind a 3 mile walk ( or are smarter than the rest and know where to drive  ) you can enjoy the mountain.
locals prefer to walk and take a bike , roads towards the hill are closed during the event, and the hill is private property. Farmer is oke, airport cant sent you away so worth the effort!

Awesome Thunderbolt! On my wishlist for next year.
