Meiringen ''Wiederholungskurs" 30APR - 2MEI
Hi,
I was at Meiringen during the ''Wiederholungskurs 2012''. Below is a selection of shots wich I took during my 2,5-day stay.
The weather didn't always play ball, but overall it was nice.
On with the photos:
1. An F/A-18C takes off in drizzling rain from RWY28:
2. Touchdown of an F-5E ''Tiger'' on Runway 10, with a little bit of vapour on the wings.
3. Two F/A-18's returning from a mission in light rain.
4. An F-5E taxies out over a bridge. Pilot has spottet us
5. The 11 staffel "Tiger" taking off from RWY10.
6. An F/A-18 with it's caracteristic vapour.
7. On the second day the weather was improving, an Hornet taxies to the cavern's over the longest taxiway I have ever seen.
8. An F-5 follows a Hornet...
9. Switserland, Meiringen, a great place!
10. Touchdown!! After another WK2012 mission!
Greetz, Ron

I think the damp weather actually increases the atmosphere in your pictures. Where exactly is the small bridge located?

Very impressive Ron!
Nr4 is awesome, where can you normally catch an F-5E on a small bridge? Looks like it rolled into the mountains...
regards,
Maurits

Very nice! The bad weather gives them a nice atmosphere. I was there on 3 and 4 mei. The weather was great those days. I will make another topic for the pictures.
