It becomes a habit. Every holliday in May, my dad and I start the car for few days of spotting in/through Europe. We started this annual trip in 2010, visiting Switzerland, A year later, we drove to Austria for some military spotting. This year we planned on visiting Germany and Italy. Despite the fact that not everything went as planned, we had some lovely and sunny days! Eventually we visited Nörvenich. Laupheim, Bolzano, Villafranca, Ulm, Ramstein, Landstuhl and the museum of Hermeskeil.
I would like to thank a few friends and spotters who helped us during the trip, a special thanks goes to ´PH-ULP´, ´kmarrie´, ´ZeroOtto´ and a group of spotters we met at Ramstein!
Hope you like this tripreport. C&C is welcome, as always!
On our way to Italy we made a quick stop at Nörvenich....

...and Laupheim.

We visited Bolzano an entire day, only one MIL a/c was spotted...

One of the buildings in 'Villafranca' houses this beauty:

Military activity on Verona-Villafranca was very poor, but we had some great weather!

Back in Germany, we tried to catch a glimpse of „Christoph 22” at the Bundeswehrkrankenhause in Ulm.

Next in line: Ramstein, never, ever boring!

We drove on to "aussichtspunkt Herrengärtchen" to take some shots from above

We planned to go to Spangdahlem, but due to the "tag des arbeits" (laborday) there was no activity, so we drove on to the "Flugausstellung Hermeskeil"

Sven,
i love your Carabinieri and 767 shot, beautiful!
Very impressive to see so many USAREUR/ US Army helicopters on RS platform.
Can you show us some more Landstühl pictures?
Hope I can join you next year on the "crew" trip to Poland.
Ciao Ralph
