Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Bonaire (BON/TNCB), 27/03 - 07/04 (photoheavy!)

I took the pics below during my recent holiday on Bonaire. There's a lot of photos in here, hope you enjoy!

Leaving Holland

Recognize the city below? :)

2 days later, we had booked a sightseeing flight, which was incredibly nice!

Ever wondered where your salt comes from..? Tadaa!

Punt Vierkant, where we used to live

See the pool? There are 6 houses on the right and 4 above it. The 2nd house from right in the row of 4 was ours :)

Flamingo Airport. On the top left at the airport, you can see a big platform, which is used by widebodies like Arkefly's 767 and KLM's MD-11 (and also for parking smaller bizjets).
In front of the terminal and tower, there is a smaller platform, which is used for the scheduled commercial services, like the DAE ATR 42 that is currently on the ground.
Below that is the general aviation apron, which has been hosting a Venezuelan Jetstream for almost 10 years (they are unable to find the owner and after 10 years the may scrap it).

Slagbaai, inside the national park. Note the high peak on the left of the strut, that is the Brandaris and it's the highest mountain on the island with an altitude of 241m. We climbed it during our holiday
Image

The old and new lighthouse
Image

Boka Kokolishi, one of the best beaches on the island and very secluded.
Image

Yes, windmills have made it to the island aswell! On a good they, they provide up to 40% of the electricity for Bonaire, not bad I'd say!

Flightplan says route of KLM765/PH-KCB was planned via overhead Southampton. But considering the river and bridges, I put my money on London!!!

I envy you for having flown PH-KCB! That's one of the two I haven't flown yet!
