Hi all!
Some years ago, there was a project ( and a website) called "new jets for snobirds".
Can someone tell which point this project has reached? Are the Snowbirds going to fly Hawks, as the indian Surya Kirans will?
In a more global way, is there a programm to replace the old Tutors?
Regards.

Re: Question to the canadians
Indeed, there have been many rumours over the years, even former Swiss Hawks were mentioned as a replacement aircraft. For the foreseeable future no project to replace the Tutor is underway; although old, the aircraft are still found reliable and sufficient spare parts are available to keep them flying for at least a few more years. Obviously, the Canadian military has different priorities these days.
