Are you sure about the codes of the Rafales? They don't carry the 7- anymore, it should be 113-

Any idea when the EC1/12 Mirages are going to leave Cambrai, and what's there destination!?!?! Maybe a good last try to catch them, after that disappointing event !!

According to some local spotters four Mirage 2000s will leave to Orange on Monday, four on Tuesday and the last four on Wednesday. Some of them might also leave to Chataudun. Base will finally close on Thursday.Tigerspoon wrote:Any idea when the EC1/12 Mirages are going to leave Cambrai, and what's there destination!?!?! By the way, I was quite pleased with the event, compared to some flyouts expierenced in our own airforce - what was wrong in your eyes? Only rumours suggested there might have been much more visiting aircraft?
Up to nine different based Mirages could be observed flying local sorties each day until two weeks ago, but only few people - mainly Belgian and of course French or people with French/Belgian nicknames - were interested then ...

I don't think that only a few spotter were interested in the last flying days of EC1/12, there were quite many many more; but i guess only a handfull of them was able to make a journey to Cambrai within those days.
Me for myself, i'm not that frustrated regarding the visiting acft, (I've posted the expectations a few days before the event) for myself as a photographer the most disappointing was the "bad" weather condition during the "highlight"; the Fly-By of the 4-ship Mirage 2000C, as well that there only were 2 of the 3 special coloured acft.............especially if you see what the weather was like the past 10 days

Spotting near Orange might be a chance to still get some Mirages when time is available?
more via pm.
By the way, did somebody get identities of the three uncoded PAF Alpha Jets which landed one hour after the event?
