Found this website: http://www.milavia.net/specials/ntm07/index.htm .Anyone made te visit in 2007 ?
When looking at google maps, the runway seems to be north-south. Meaning sun in your back morning hours or aftrenoon hours. I do not know where people were positioned during 2007. Maybe some people can help who have been there in 2007?
Grtz,
Edward

Edward, I have not been at Orland in 2007, but the pictures from those people who did venture over there were such that I regretted very much for not having gone.Hornet69 wrote:Found this website: http://www.milavia.net/specials/ntm07/index.htm .Anyone made te visit in 2007 ?

2007 was great
If I remember well, we were until midday on the gras beside the runway (on the north side) and later, on the taxiway between the runway and the shelters in the south side. There, you could move a little bit around, so, the sund was not really a problem.
