Schiphol pictures not newsworthy
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Schiphol pictures not newsworthy
Since the alarming messages on the board concerning the "piracy-practise" of Photobucket I haven't touched the site anymore and consequently couldn't post any pictures on this forum. Now I just read about the possibility of directly loading up pictures with a limit of six and no more than 800 pixels wide. I decided to try this out and used some of my recent Schiphol pictures, although obviously they're not newsworthy. It's just for trying out, and possibly with my total inadequate computer capabilities it doesn't work at all. I'm curious.

Although you accuse yourself of inadequate computer capabilities it worked out quite well. The same can be said about the pictures themselves

Nice! Picture #4, is that one taken at 18C-36C ("kop van" 18C)?

Re: Schiphol pictures not newsworthy
Thanks for your replies Coen en Lennart and yes picture #4 was taken at the spot near 18C. It was very early morning and there was very little light. Aircraft came taxiing around 18C to take off at 36L and I was lucky because the Delta A330 was closely followed by a KLM 737. The taxitrack at that point is surrounded by marker boards but with 400mm it was just possible to frame this.
