After cancelling a weeks trip in April (for obvious reasons), ended up spending just over two weeks in Japan (21st Nov~6th Dec) wrapped around the airshows at Ashiya, Gifu and Nyutabaru. Below is first week of the trip.
21st Nov - Nyutabaru
22nd Nov - Nyutabaru
23rd Nov - Ashiya airshow
24th - Omura
25th Nov - Ozuki
25th Nov - Hofu-Kita
26th Nov - Miho
Make a detour here as there was an airshow the next day (clashing with Gifu). Not much sign of airshow preparations.
Paul.

Hi Paul,
Like 'm a lot! The Omura shots are a nice addition since we do not get to see many shots from that place.
Regards,
Stefan

Stuff lifting off from the boards were <300mm(ff) and the side on stuff touching down on the runway (in front of the hangers) < 150mm(ff).CBR wrote:I agree and obviously a nice place to take pictures. How many mm (ff) Paul?Stefan wrote:Hi Paul,

Good catch. Did you have a base visit at Ashiya or was it an open house and Paul where did you take the US-1?

It was Ashiya open house, Wed 23rd Nov (a public holiday). The US-1A was on static at the show, but departed before 1pm.Jutter wrote:Good catch. Did you have a base visit at Ashiya or was it an open house and Paul where did you take the US-1?
