Untimely TriStar in the dark
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Untimely TriStar in the dark
The handling company I work for had the handling of a TriStar yesterday. Luckily it was delayed due technical reasons. Luckily as I really wanted to do some night shots before its too late :ninja:
#1 - 3200ISO shot
#2 - GPU and tug positioning just after the aircraft has come to a stop. I wish my collegues were slower so I could have gotten shot without it
#3
#4
#5
#6
#7
#8
#9 - My colleagues getting ready to assist with engine start using both GPU and APU:
#10 - Smokey engine start
#11 - ready for taxi, hope to see you at EKCH again
Hope I didnt go over board here

Very nice photos - Even if you stayed after work. For those of you who don't know how crazy this photographer is check out the last time he was starting the L1011, a camera strapped to his back.
That's dedication.

@ Derice
If I am not mistaken these are refuelinghoses for airrefueling. They are winched in and wenn needed they go out.
I looked for a picture on airliners:

Austria.
