Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Looks like a nice airshow at Dubai, too bad your pics are not completely sharp. But i like to see more of the pics you've made
Re: Dubai Air Show 2011 (OMDB/DXB)
Nice batch of photos, though a bit out of focus.
I visited the show on Tuesday 15th and on my Flickr page I've dedicated a set to this day at the show:

I agree, but what can one do about it? It was quite a disappointment to learn, that the organizers had decided to put up this fence for the first time (?) in the airshows history.tonjochems wrote:Nicecseries but a pity the fence ruins the picture..
This is reportedly the last time the Airshow will be held on the grounds of DXB. From 2013 the location will be Dubai World Central.

@ Oost spotter, your pics look great but have a big lack of quality and dustspots.... My guess is you did something incorrect with editing and exporting...

@ Piet: 14 & 16 November according exif.
@ Twan, it seems now that the ever-present unsharpness of your photos is not due to the glass you are usually shooting through at Schiphol-Oost. You have never reacted to my messages about this, but this is really the last time we can leave your photos as they are if they do not improve. There are plenty people here willing to help you solve this, including myself.
Scramble wants to maintain at least some kind of minimum level in photo quality, and that is what we will do. It is also stated in the Forum rules.
You can contact me to continue on this in Dutch of course, if you want to.
