Hi...
My first time at GLV-5, great to meet some of the experienced guys like Jimmy, Ben, Maarten, Nanou and Bennie.
We were lucky to catch some Apaches and a Chinook, as well as some YPR vehicles.
Also nice to experience that one of the Apache pilots was pointing his gun at us.
It tastes for more!!!

Re: GLV-5, 28-10-2011
It certainly was a nice day with good company on ground and in the air!
Johan, I wonder which of us is Ben an who's Bennie. Love your number 3 BTW.
Jim, number two is nice, the brown-out that followed was not.
Nanou, nice set considered your age and experience in the field.
Maarten and I stayed at a safe distance... we thought. Until the Chinook came to say goodbye. Nice number two Maarten.
Here's a set of mine:
1. The YPR's Zipper talked (wrote) about.
2. But this is where we came for.
3.
4.
5. The gunner playing with us.
6. And of he goes to close a nice day off.

Nice shots guys! But seriously, how much dust does your camera contain after one day of GLV5?
Greetz,
Patrick

Hi Ben...
Eh... Bennie is the guy with the red jacket next to you, who followed the FAC's and ended up in a real brown-out directly under a Apache.
Grtz.

Hi Zipper,
when did you take that last picture of your group? I think before the brown-outs of the Chinook . They all look so clean.
I enjoyed the pictures.
Grtz,
Edward.

Hi...
Glad you enjoyed the pictures, it was my first experience at GLV-5, and a good one, I must say.
Also the "socialising part" with the bunch...
Here one more "brown-out"...
Nikon D3, 70-200 2.8 VRII at 200 mm, 1/160, f/16, ISO 200, -0.3 LW

Yes Edward, the picture was taken about 45 minutes after we arrived. Although there were some YPR's racing around, there wasn o dust in the camera's and lenses at that point...Edward wrote:when did you take that last picture of your group? Hi guys, it seems you had a lot of fun last Friday..... The light seems perfect on that Chinook, and I love the head-on shots with the loadmaster hangingh out.
Great catch,
