Hold youre horses ... In het artikel staat dat het verzoek is neergelegd; dit is nog geen bevestiging! dat deze ook gaat komen.

Doe mij maar 748's en 787's.
Die 380's zijn lelijk. ;) :+
Maar het is wel mooi voor SPL dat ze komen.
Ze hadden er qua kaliber waarop SPL opereerd al lang moeten zijn.
FRA/CDG/LHR/ZHR, etc hebben ze allemaal al op bezoek. SPL mag in dat rijtje eigenlijk niet ontbreken. ;)

I think that we may hope for EK and MH to operate A380 service to AMS, I can't think of any other airline switching to A380's in the near future, maybe CZ to PEK-CAN.

De voorbereidingen die op Schiphol getroffen zijn voor reguliere A380-afhandeling zijn voor zover ik weet wel degelijk gebaseerd op de plannen van Emirates. Blijft natuurlijk zo dat het pas een feit is als ze echt komen.

En China Southern komt naar alle waarschijnlijkheid ook 2 x per week met A380

Perhaps this might clear some guessing of things to happen in 2012;

- CZ = 5x A380 on order, first nearly ready for delivery. Start domestic training and local pax flights in China. Then first service will be PEK-CDG. AMS is mentioned as 2nd destination. Possible from 2nd/3rd A380 delivered ...

- MH = 5x A380 on order, first has good progress (cabin instal @ HAM). First service will be LHR-KUL-SYD (does require 2 / 3 planes for daily operation). LAX and AMS have to fight for 4th place and have to wait for the 4th/5th frame to be delivered ...

How soon something might happen all depends on the ongoing deliveries from Airbus :wink:

CZ - First delivered Oct 14, First routes PEK - CAN and PEK - PVG I believe, 2nd to be delivered in December.

MH - 6 on order. First still in Toulouse expect ferry to XFW this week. Second in Final Assembly and third in Body Join. //Edit: First has just been ferried to XFW as AIB02SU
