A small impression of some recent 'regulars' during the early morning and late afternoon at 'my' Melbourne - Tullamarine Airport, Australia. Due to heat haze and harsh light photography is IMHO only doable until 1.5 hours after sunrise and from 1.5 hours before sunset. Anyway I hope you like them:

I think we all feel very sorry for you Jeroen; you being ''down under'' with hardly any nice planes and bad weather...... :drunk: :wink:

Thanks to the huge Vietnamese population in the Melbourne area Vietnam Airlines flies to Melbourne-Tullamarine on a daily basis...

Due to heat haze and the high sun stand not the most brilliant pic but for Melbourne-Tullamarine International Airport RAAF F/A-18's are not a common sight. Anyway A21-52 was the F/A-18A responsible for the aerial display prior to the 2012 Grand Prix Formula 1 today at Albert Park, Melbourne here seen just a few seconds before touching down at runway 16 at Melbourne - Tullamarine International Airport:
