NATO Days in Ostrava, Czech Republic w/Israeli F-15Ds
At a relatively small airshow with spectacular spotting place, this year we enjoyed the appearence of two 'last minute' Israeli F-15D Baz fighters. One of them was Baz 957, the famous 'Half winged' aircraft involved in 1983 Negev mid-air collision.
More pics here (more to come during next weeks).

Very nice small airshow indeed.
Do you have more pics of Baz 957 named "Skyblazer" and 715 "Wind Chart".
Nice surprise that is!
957 has these 4,5 kills:
june 8 1982: MiG-21 with an AIM-7 Sparrow;
june 10 1982 3 kills (!): 2 MiG-23s with an AIM-7 Sparrow and a Python 3 and 1 MiG-21 with a Python 3;
november 19, 1985: 1/2 MiG-23 with a Python 3 shared with aircraft 840.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice aircraft...terrible shots!
The fish eye lens makes the aircraft look like bananas.
Rob.

Must agree with Rob, nice catches but the fish eye makes them look weird. Also, did you used HDR while processing them?

Indeed a pity you had to use a fish-eye lens, but with barriers very close to the aircraft...

Actually these are panorama pics processed with Hugin/Luminance HDR/GIMP, and also heavy HDR tonemapping was done.
There are some not so wide angle shots in my processing queue.
(BTW I enjoy having aggressive panoramas like this and actually searched for such close cordons
