Re: Niederstetten 18t of September 2011
The Bo-105s all seem to be (ex?) KHR26/36 machines. Were they in active conditions or stored?

All Bo105s mentioned were active, most of them participated in the flying display.

Well, I don't know if it counts as a 100% identification, but that was the serial that was written (with a black felt-pen) on the inside of the right cockpit door... I logged it too, but with a BIG question mark...Gerard wrote:All c/n-plates etc were removed. How did you identify it?Jon Snow wrote:The yellow/black hulk marked Tobey is ex 73+46

I have some doubt if 73+46 is correct. This a/c was last noted al Ahlen.frank kramer wrote:Well, I don't know if it counts as a 100% identification, but that was the serial that was written (with a black felt-pen) on the inside of the right cockpit door... However acc to a maintenance officer the serial of the yellow/black hulk is unknown.
It was specialy painted for the open day in these colours.
It came from a kaserne were it was used as para trainer.

Could someone clearify were I missed these 2?
Also nice to see was the temporary airfield "Segelflugplatz Leuzendorf". This was used before the morning and afternoon demonstration flights as remote airfield.

Re: Niederstetten 18t of September 2011
These two UH-1 were parked on the northern side of the airfield, on the left side of the Precision Approach Radar. They both did not fly on saturday.jreijmer wrote:I seem to have missed the following from the list of Gerard of the 17th. 72+86,72+30

Re: Niederstetten 18t of September 2011
@ Jon Snow and/or jreijmer:
Did you read the serials in hangar 2 from the inside or the outside?
We read Bo105 88+02 instead of 88+10, but that can be a mistake on our side...
And UH1 73+44: We asked a technician who just came out of the hangar what the complete serial was of UH1 ..+44, and he said it was 71+44...
Any help on these serials would be highly appreciated!
Edit: problems solved. Bo150 was mix up in a notebook, and UH1 was a mistake by a technician...

71+44 is not correct. C/N 8464 was read off from this +44 UH-1D so that makes 73+44 for this one.mailman wrote:@ Jon Snow and/or jreijmer:

Hi @ all:
The yellow/black »TOBEY«'s correct Ser.No. is 72+89 (Bu.No.8409). It has been used at Mittenwald Bks before as a groundtrainer for loading purposes. Mittenwald has recieved another (better) airframe in exchange.
Hope that helps. If you have any other questions regarding German HUEYs, feel free to ask.
Cheers,
ROB
