A while back there was talk that the Israelis would participate with F-16s. Is this still the case even though they are no longer mentioned (as a "surprise visitor" )?

The MiG-21 won't make a solo display but an air policing demonstration.FoxbatRU wrote:http://100.airshow-bg.com/wp-content/up ... 4_GRAB.jpg
I don't see the flying MiG-21 in the new program! I need to return tickets?
....
About, now has seen it in the form of an escort. But all the same it isn't present in the list of flights. Strange.
....
Has read even more attentively. Probably G-21=MiG-21! The panic is cancelled.

Seen at Graf Ingnatievo on sunday September 4 were three Mig-29s close to the road and right next to it were two MI-17's. Anyone for the serials??

Those Mi-17s, were they painted in a dessert color scheme? In that case, they were probably Canadian CH-178s. Three of them (completely unmarked) arrived here on 18 August.

Re: BIAF @Plovdiv 4, 5 September 2011
The heatwaves were terrible, but we managed to read part of the serial of one of the MiG-29's. It was either 25 or 26, and since 25 has crashed a long time ago.... The two Mi-17s were 417 and 418.Seen at Graf Ingnatievo on sunday September 4 were three Mig-29s close to the road and right next to it were two MI-17's. Anyone for the serials??
Hoper this helps, and if somebody has the serials for the other two Fulcrums....
Cheers,

Are you sure about MI-17 418? This one flew that morning and we saw it come in. Unfortunately I didn't pay attention and looked if it was missing. When we were waiting we did hear helicopters but they seemed to be farther off on the base. So is there anyone who did notice 1 missing MI-17 near the road?

It should be pretty easy to figure it out as they only have four remaining (417, 418, 419 and 421)
