OK, let´s face it: You don´t travel to Tallinn for spotting alone. But if you are in Tallinn anyway, an afternoon at the airport is the effort worth:

I am not Stubenfliege, so I cannot tell where exactly he took the pictures. However, the high wall you see on the pictures is only on the eastside, behind the platforms. On the westside there is a little road almost all along the runway. You can see everything from there through the fence without any problems and at some points you can also easily look over the fence. It is really easy to find, just exit the terminal, go left, cross the landing lights, take the first left and continue until you hit the fence.
Unless of course, a lot of things changed in the past 4 years.
