An Avis Amur An-12 (suspected to be the RA-11125) is believed to have crashed while on a flight between Magadan and Keperveem in Russia's Far East.
The crew had reported an engine fire and that they would be returning to Magadan. Contact was then lost and an ELT signal received. The aircraft has been located by searchers, but there is no news yet about the fate of the 11 persons onboard.

According to an article in the Dutch newspaper "Telegraaf", authorities have grounded all the An-12 aircraft as a result of this accident.
