Hi y'all!
A few months ago my dad and I visited Austria for a week or so. We had some great weather during our annual father-and-son-spotting-trip and visited a total of 7 different airforce bases and museums. I finally found the time to sort out and edit my photos. We had a great week, without many problems, except for a lot of fuss with the MP and polizei at Fritzlar, they aren't really used to spotters...
Here is a 'smal' selection of this trip through Germany and Austria. Hope you like them, all C&C is welcome!
First stop of our trip was at the hangars of ADAC at Bonn-Hangelar. A very friendly ATC-er allowed us to enter the field and take some pictures at the platform.

On the first of May we payed a visit at Red Bull's Hangar 7 (and . The Flying Bulls are stationed in two beautifully shaped hangars. Really worthwhile to drop by when you're near Salzburg Airport!

Next stop: Zeltweg! We visited the airbase twice, on . We witnessed the rehearsals for the AirpowerDemo11 on both days, including the tactical landing and formations with two of their three C-130's!

Last, but not least we visited Tulln-Langelebarn for two days. For me, spotting the Austrian S-70A's, were the reason for planning this trip. We had some great fun with the pilots, especially with the AL.3 pilot during his low-low-LOW pas over us, tnx!

Biggest challenge of the whole trip was the stop on our way back home. It turns out to be difficult to take pics of a German Tigre without getting into trouble...

Tnx for all the positive feedback. I hadn't expected it but Austria is quiet a nice country for spotters
