hi all,
after my business-trip to the Salon du Bourget, I managed to squeeze in an additional day to enjoy the action
As you'll probably know, photography is difficult as the display line is quite far away. Most flying display shots were taken with a D300 + 200-400mm + 1.7xTC
1. Firstly Boeings' new pride
2.
3.
4. Eurocopter EC175
5. Eurocopter X3. This is a trully stunning helicopter, even though it's ugly as can be
6. French Pride... the new special coloured Rafale
7.
8.
9. The A380 was put through its paces again, showing its manouverability
10.
11.
12.
13.
14.
15.
16. This Brazilian ATR-72 is painted in special "30 years ATR" colours
17.
and a bonus from Charles de Gaulle from the evening before...
Mr. Putin going back home
hope you like them
Koen

Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Re: Paris - Salon du Bourget
thanks for the nice comments
@Maurits: who knows where the Eurocopter and C-130 photo end up, it's my core business
@ Tomba: you're right about the noise. Shooting with 600mm still required some major cropping, I guess that ain't good for noise control
