I believe Steve Udvar-Hazy said 50 neo's?nuckleuz wrote:PARIS: Leasing company Air Lease Corp. has signed a deal with Airbus for 30 A320NEOs, 11 A330s and 1 A321.
//Edit: Half of them would be A321neo

Re: Orders thread 2011
The Air Lease Corp order is for 1 A321 and 11 A330s (both -200s and -300s).
The 50 A320neo family aircraft (including 14 options) is a MoU that they indicated at the press conference would be firmed up within the next few weeks.

Re: Orders thread 2011
Boeing has orders and commitments for a total of 17 B747-8. The customers are not disclosed yet, but one has signed up for 15, another for 2. Although customers are not yet known, the orders are officially announced by Boeing.
More info on the Boeing Paris 2011 site.
Erwin
Edit: I first wrote the order was for B747-8i, but now I read reports that at least two are for the Freighter version. So took away the i.

A few more orders from yesterday
Kenya Airways has signed a LoI for 10 E-190s. The deal includes options for another 10 E-Jets
Source at Embraer
ALC, the leasing firm, has ordered another 5 E-190s. This brings its total orders to 25 E-190s and 5 E-175s
Embraer source
Also, according to Luchtvaartnieuws, GECAS has ordered another 2 E-190s. Maybe someone has a confirmation of this, I can't find another source for this.

According to Embraer, the E-jet family has gained more than a 1000 orders since its launch.

Re: Orders thread 2011
Live announcement by Airbus: CIT leasing orders 50 A320NEO (although Tom Enders was thinking bigger and called them A350NEO....).
This order broke the 500 mark for the A320NEO already!
It is an MOU by the way.
