Hunter Town - Kemble 18062011

Post by MartinNeedham »

Made the trip down to Kemble for the Cotswold Airshow yesterday, an excellent day's flying, just spoilt by the weather.

Nice set, like the last two especially. Did not know they could get so many flying Hunters in one place. Too bad about the weather but what's a UK airshow without some rain?

How many Hunters did they get together? 8, or where there more?

Judging from the pictures, at least nine... 7 UK-tails in the line-up Martin shot + the two "Dutch" Hunters. Boy, would I have liked to have been there  Fortunately, thanks to this beautiful set of photo's I can at least feel some of the atmosphere. Thanks, Martin! (Hope they get the same number at RIAT  ).
