Hi
Very nice landing shots.
I am also planning to go on Thursday.
I think with north west winds they will land
On runway 28. What is the best position to
park your car. I checkt google earth but
i don't see much parking position along
the road. Maybe some one can tel me the
best place maybe with a image off google
Earth.
Is this the place ?
Thanks a lot

This spot IS the best to park your car. We were there on monday with more or less 80-100cars, so enough space if everybody ist parking next to each other without 100meters of spare between the cars!

Hmm, it looks rather cramped... Is it really a small area?Hornet69 wrote:Spottersday 11 May 2011 - Cambrai Nato Tiger Meet.

The area is about 600 meters long. Gives plenty of space!

600 meters for 1500 people? I would not write "Gives plenty of space".The area is about 600 meters long. Gives plenty of space!
Stepladders line about five meters behind the crowd line. So only useable for take-off pics. If you were allowed to put your stepladder behind the first crowd line; OK then we can all take nice taxishots. But not when stepladders must be put on the stepladder line.
... and ofcourse you can make excellent pictures as long as you are in front or for take-off have 400 mm or more. I had a great day; thanks to the weather and many aircraft. But also stressful times.
I just hope for the two upcoming spottersdays the organization allow spotters to place their stepladders behind the crowdline (and not five meters behind the crowdline). Just a constructive suggestion.
Grtz,
Edward.

I do not know the scale. And along the area spotter? I can find space near the barriers?
