I was on a spotting trip with 2 friends from the 3rd of May untill the 6th of May. We stayed at the Manchester Airport Hotel.
Flow in the with KL1073 arriving in the morning, aircraft was the PH-BTD a Boeing 737-300.
1. Our ride at the gate.
2. Polderbaan (36L-18R) tower.
3. Climbing
4. Cruise
5. Vortex while descending.
6. Flaring
7. Cockpit
8. Outside view, just before the busride to Terminal 2.
9. The Manchester Airport Hotel. Paid 45 pounds for 3 night, it's nothing special but worth the money.
10. After a long walk (we underestimated the length) we arrived at the first spot.
11. A Qatar A330 reversing on runway 05L, there were heatwaves.
12. EK18 to Dubai.
13.
14. Nice Jet2 Boeing 737-800 with special titles, there is also a 757 in these colors.
15. Not much A300 passenger planes left in Europe.
16. We moved to a further spot where you can see aircraft vacating runway 05R, a lot of backlight. My second part will be better because we moved a lot.
We walked over 15km the first day so we thought it was enough. Here is the Finair Retro.
17. Some regulars.
18. What if she said no?
19.
20. PIA701 vacating 05R, Pakistan also uses the Boeing 777-200ER on the route.
21. EY21 taxiing to the gate.
22. Just 3 more from the hotel garden.
23. New VS A330 to Orlando.
24.
