Yes, I can confirm that! A very spectacular happening, that you won't see every day (or maybe I can better say every year ;) )
Around 20.00u lt (every day this week) it's possible to have a closer look to this machine ;)

Yeah absolutely! It has been dry for weeks and I came at Hilversum (I was there for only 30 minutes) and we had rain, and even Utrecht was not visible :S

HILVERSUM - Het plan voor twaalf ’basejumps’ vanuit een zeppelin boven het Vliegveld Hilversum is van de baan.

Het bestuur van het vliegveld heeft het organiseren van de reeks sprongen expliciet verboden. Initiatiefnemers wilden het evenement zou vrijdag 13 mei in de namiddag en vroege avond laten plaatsvinden. Als springhoogte was 300 meter aangegeven, maar de stichting Vliegveld Hilversum was niet op de hoogte gesteld van het plan en piekert er niet over om er toestemming voor te geve

Nice to see something else for a change....

BTW the jumping would not have been BASE jumping, as BASE is short for Building, Antenna, Span and Earth. It would just have been jumping from a flying zeppelin at extremely low altitude....

Was based at Valkenburg for a few days and flew yesterday to Hilversum :wink:

Correct. And according the local newspapers the Blimp will leave Hilversum next sunday.

Nice close up pictures of the cabin. Don't you have pictures of the interior? I will visit Hilversum this week again to see this machine a bit closer... nice pictures Kees, thanks for sharing
