Doing well, Douwe! They are a bit on the bright side, possibly due to preparing with sunlight entering your room .
Otherwise fine, you've come a long way in a short time.

@Erik...did you sneek into my house ?? That is indeed one of 2 problems :
the room where I use the PC and edit the pics is filled with (sun)light until +/- 6PM-7PM;
due to lack of space I can not place the PC in an other room; or maybe edit the pics (late) at night.
2nd problem is that my screen is in DESPERATE need of calibration ALL mi pics have a tendency to be "overexposed". Or maybe a bad copy of my EOS 1000D ?
THNKX to some VERY NICE guys here at scramble I have made progress !
May I name a few ( with the risk of forgetting somebody ) ?
a great Inspirer is NustyR
Guys that did not only tell me what was wrong but step by step (stil )teaching me some tricks :
1..Tom(ba)
2..Menno
3..Andras
4..Daan
5..Mick
6..Sylvia
thnkx & much APPRECIATED !!!!

Nothing wrong with your camera dude, your monitor must be calibrated to get the right results. I looked at your shots and i just pulled back exposure and voila! You do not do this when you need sunscreen and sunglasses in your living room..dvdzee wrote: 2nd problem is that my screen is in DESPERATE need of calibration ALL mi pics have a tendency to be "overexposed". Very good progress Douwe!

Everybody THNKX very much.
I've done some reading on ALL the comments and some reading on the web and re-edited the pics I've posted.
On my screen they looked ( a 'bit ) "dark" but when I saw them on the screen of a friend of mine who is a (sport) photographer they looked......awesome & much better than mine and guess what...... he asked me if my screen is calibrated I said no and he answered do it at once and edit your pics in a "darker" place and try to keep the same conditions every time you edit your pics ( almost hear Andras speaking to me )
OK guys thank you once again and up to my next mission......
Douwe
