In tonight was this Russian, arriving ahead of the 'Open Skies' operation this week
Although nothing to do with Open Skies, this Chinook,ZA714 was parked up on the former 101Sqn ramp.

Nice catch the Antonov. Where do you normally stand at Brize? Been there a few times when I lived in Oxford but never was able to find a decent spot to make pictures?
I always say a boy can learn more at an airport than at any school.

Thanks mate! It really depends which runway is in use at the time. Point K on the map is usually a good spot as its right next to taxyway B. Its easy to get to as well, just park up at point H and walk along the footpath.
