At approx 0815 Malta time this morning

"Tartan One Three" declared “pressurization problem; non RVSM, unable to climb due to pressurization problem priority Trapani" with alarms going off in background...(female pilot with a tense tone)

Controller requested type of aircraft and pob answer "Victor Charlie One Zero (VC10) 4 pob Tartan One Three" Malta proceeded to clear airspace around the aircraft

Controller "Nato 04 aircraft with pressurisation problem "Tartan 13" also for Trapani may overtake you"

Nato 04 "we are aware of Tartan 13 thank you"

Tartan 13 "stabilized at this altitude"

Nato 04 "we are slowing down"
