Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

CIV/MIL NH90 at Eelde 04apr11

Post by Heron »

A normal afternoon at Eelde...

01 This is a Cirrus SR22GTS G3 Tc, very likely the former D-EOSN:

02 The Gasunie inspection flights were today flown with R.44 Raven PH-WNW:

03 bmi Regional with a slight upgrade, bringing the ERJ-145 instead of the normal ERJ-135:

04 And this should be NH90 CSX81730, though I can't read it. It only did one ILS-approach:

06 Crop of picture 5, where one can see the small white sticker with the registration, just behind the cockpit windows:

07 Another crop of picture 5, with the small white sticker with the registration below the "Danger"-sticker:

And sadly the cropped pictures show very clearly the limitations of an 8 megapixel camera
(and a perhaps not 100% sharp picture to begin with...)

The callsign of the NH90 was "NH90" or "NH90A", but the airport office got it as "CSX81730" or "I81730" from De Kooij (EHKD) to Eindhoven (EHEH).

Greetingsenzo,
Bert.

It certainly does look familiar.
I think I'm getting old, don't recognize the newer types.
Merci
