After a great good-bye to the Volkel F-16's we went to work and to Zeeland,
Just a few minutes were left before the Dynamica left the canal near Wemeldinge and into the lake;
We caught it again at Bruinisse;
It parked in front of the lockers at the Krammersluizen for the last 2 hours, will it stay there for the night?

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2011 MIL
Hi,
Here some shots of the Dynamica passing Wamel, near the Prins Willem Alexanderbrug around 9.35hrs lt.
Under the bridge....
Still a rare sight, Chinooks on a vessel...
Regards,
Maurits

Re: Chinook delivery by barge
The Dynamica is much more sailing for the US army, like his sistership, the Vera. CH53`s, Hummers, Apaches, trucks, tanks are
a lot sailing over the river Rhine. My officer/stuurman has 2 years sailing on the Dynamica, normaly by such transport, there is a officer from the US Army on board. But you can without any problem go on board from the trucks etc. Normaly thus trips goes from
Mannheim (40 km from airbase Ramstein) to Rotterdam or Antwerp. Wen they are sailing with ammunition you can see three blue lamps above, or three blue ``kegels`` (sorry, i don`t no the English). Dynamica has btw a crew of 4.

Re: Chinook delivery by barge
Nice shots! Especially the ones from Pim are supersharp. Unfortunately I was as work while the ship was sailing by less than half an hour from my work....I had hoped it would sail somewhere between Nijmegen and Emmerich around 17h but no...
A question: the colour of the new Chinooks seems much brighter than the old ones. Is it really a different colour or do they just get darker over time, picking up dirt&dust on their skin?
