This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Re: my first post on scramble with pictures
Okay Dennis, that's sorted out. When you grab a BBC code by the way, you can allso chose which size you are goint to post the image. I allways go for the one last greatest size (1024), but of course that's completely up to you...dalkmaar wrote:great thank you
Now for about your images:
It would be very helpfull to have the EXIF data on each image, so we can help you out a little bit better. And personaly i would like to know what kind of equipment you are shooting with (body and lens)...

Re: my first post on scramble with pictures
well my digital shots are with one very very old camera: the panasonic DMC-TZ3 with 40x zoom but after 10x the quality decreases.
my other shots are with my dad's camera: the canon eos 500D with an extra lens which i believe is 50-250 mm (not sure about the 50).
I have no idea about the EXIF data on the images, I just set the camera to "landscape" pictures most of the time and this is what comes out.

Re: my first post on scramble with pictures
What do you mean with "my digital shots"? I mean, the 500D is a digital camera too. Speaking of the 500D, that is a very good camera for what i have heard, don't know about the lens, but that probably will pretty good too.dalkmaar wrote:well my digital shots are with one very very old camera: the panasonic DMC-TZ3 with 40x zoom but after 10x the quality decreases.

Maybe it's good to go thru the manual once, that will clear a lot i guess....

Re: my first post on scramble with pictures
oow sorry i didn't know that
on the 500D with the 500mm lens I also have another feature, it something that makes the colours brighter, just like they are in real. (and it helps a lot, i just don't know how it's called in both english and dutch because my dad bought that).
with my digital shots i mean a small camera in this case the panasonic DMC-TZ3.
I think I know what i'm going to do when I have some spare time... reading the manual so I can make better shots.
I'm still curious about what you think of my pictures so far?
thanks for all the advise,
Dennis

Re: my first post on scramble with pictures
Nice set Dennis! Lot of different angles, wich makes it not borring! Some photos have a bit to much contrast in it, like photos 1/3 and 9.
But again nice photos!
