Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

After school I grabbed my camera again:
2. missed this one yesterday, but fortunately I had another chance today
3. And this is how a beautiful day ended, a Saudi Cargo 747 with the last sunlight of the day

Nice ones Vincent! that China airlines was a special moment, glad you got it, captured very well! 300 mm prime was a little bit too much for me nice to meet you by the way....
Tom, where are your pics mister?
Here are mine from yesterday. very foggy, hazy conditions, and sadly i had to leave when things became more interesting...
1- a prime is fine piece of quality, but i think i need to buy myself a 70-200 2.8 to get a bit more flexibility
2- i'm glad she's still flying around...
3- This is the same china airline as Vincent has captured. i rarely have seen an airplane coming over so low at the end of the kaagbaan.
4- The first time i've been confronted with a stucked main undergear. i have made several pictures of this aircraft, the left main gear just didn't get in. maybe somebody has some more info on this? did it immediatly return? what are the proecedures anyways, with a stucked gear, guess they have they return right? the wole aerodynamics of the plane is disturbed, fuell consumption will increase, etc, etc.
5- sheepclouds, love them...
6- garuda on it's way to her destination...
7- still didn't had this one, now i do
8- i had moments with very strange light yesterday, making this look like some kind of painting
9- never have seen this before! the saudi cargo is in a crisis, not willing to buy a new headphone, or he's just comfortable with this
10- she's lovely...
11- half missed one of my other favourites
12- that strange light again. shoot this towards the sun...

@ Wild Weasel: if I check http://schiphol.dutchplanespotters.nl/?date=2011-02-09, PH-BTB continued operating as normal during the day. So I guess everything worked out in the end...!
