Juicy, Hans, can you also post a picture of the RR F-4 in the background?

That RF-4C is one of the aircraft I did not photograph at the time : at least not in its full outfit...!
Wikipedia, however, shows a formation picture : perhaps that will do for the time being?

Re: 1970s Mil Collection
Nice situational pic that last one Rob! I have a small decorative piece of taxiway here in my living room. It's from some ten to twenty meters away from the spot where the T-33 is taxiing. The yellow paint on top is part of the taxiway center marker line

Re: 1970s Mil Collection
Good afternoon,
I was permitted a base visit to Rheine-Bentlage on June 28th, 1977. Here are a few photographs of the occasion.
1. CH-53G 84+84 seen taxying in.
2. View of CH-53G 84+87 inside a hangar
3. Another view inside the hangar, 84+91 and 84+75 are the ones closest to the camera
Kind regards,
Peter

Re: 1970s Mil Collection
The funny thing is that those Bentlage pics look like the could have been taken yesterday. So, many things changed in 30 years, other things didn't.

Re: 1970s Mil Collection
Noce, those scans from the early nineties, but given the title of the thread, I suppose that this is all about pictures from the seventies....
