Two 50th TFW Falcons from Hahn line up just after the barrier (saves the firefighters the trouble of removing it). Hahn flew the PW engined Falcons and Ramstein the GE powered ones.

Wow, that model 204 Iroquois...!!! :shock:

(To me Soesterberg is one of the most photogenic airfields ever, with a high treeline in the background bringing out the colors of the aircraft. I love the pitch black taxi- and runway, and the clear view from pretty up-close with the light coming from behind you....just perfect...)

Love this thread, these pictures really bring back memories! Going to Soesterberg on my bicycle(and later on my Puch) from Nieuwegein...sad those days are over:(.
Time for me to buy a scanner and digitize those old pics...
