Re: Helicopter topic
In 2007 This one was placed between Pass Thurn and Jochberg beside the main road.eagle-keeper wrote:We had vacation in Austria and in Pass Thurn, between Kitzbühel and Mittersill, we saw this "beautiful" old Slowakian airplane.
However it was an old flying helicopter, a real Mi-8, but, as you can see, it was already so old that is wasn't good to see.
There was a number on it: 0817
A year later, in 2008, I saw it on a trailer in Jochberg (near PassThurn) at a woodfactory, where I took some pictures from this beauty .When we came back in 2009, he was gone.

This Chinook was captured during the Arctic Thunder Airshow this year on Elmendorf Alaska. They performed an Alaska Joint Forces demonstration with 2 Chinooks, 2 Black Hawks and some fighters.

Re: Helicopter topic
one from the winter months
Re: Helicopter topic
A few of mine taken last year.
Lynx off-road near Emmeloord during the volcanic cloud-debacle
During a drive through Norway I ran into a beautifull Sea King
The KLu Open Days provided me with the opportunity to take this nice formation shot
A weekend visit to Bonn-Hangelar resulted in this picture amongst others
The paraplue came in handy at Gilze-Rijen prior to the Air Power demontration
Volkel was temporary playing ground for a few Italian lawnmowers
At Rotterdam The Hague Airport some nightshots were made
Regards,
Arco
