Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Good photos have been posted yet so not much new of course, but it was just the best slopes' day so far. Very busy and very nice weather. The Apaches were the highlights for me!!
Ok, some of my shots, from 3m in the air... yes it was me with the large stepladder ;)

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

Nice addition Corné. Great angle on number four. I bet your three meter stepladder has something to do with it. :)
Number seven has a potential bird hit. 8)

So you and Maarten are brothers?

Wow, nice catch guys !

I hope to be back on my two feet again soon and catch some more choppers at the slopes myself. Not much longer for this beautiful photoshpot, I'm afraid. Word has it that the new slope (well out of reach of any camera) will become operational after week 8...... :-( Any inside confirmation on this ?

Cheers,
Iwan

I don't have any inside information but I thought this slope was already in use :( . Also the ones at Deelen are being used often when heli's from the DHC are detached to Deelen.

... but stil with some luck you are be able to catch some heli's at the slopes on the south side of the airbase. Better now-a-days is the 28 spot. With western winds you are be able to shoot nice landing shots of visiting aircraft.

Hope this gives you a bit of the information you are searchinf for?

Grtz,

Edward.
